Note about copper Copper naturally patinas over time and wear, and the patina effect is actually quite beautiful. To slow down the naturally occurring patina process, refrain from wearing metals in mineral rich hot springs or exposing to soaps, lotions and sunscreens. The patina effect can be lessened by occasionally rubbing with a polishing cloth after use or wear.
